Buffalo Cafe In Space
Space Shuttle Endeavour
December 2002

Well this could become a habit;  twice in space since 2000.
First Scott Horowitz carried "Buffalo Cafe" in 2000, and now Mission Specialist John B. Herrington carried the CD on Space Shuttle Mission 113 in November 2002.

This "Buffalo Cafe" CD was flown for Jack Gladstone aboard the United States Space Shuttle, ENDEAVOUR, which was launched at 7:49 p.m., November 23, 2002, from the Kennedy Space Center, Florida.  For 6 days, 22 hours ENDEAVOUR remained docked with the International Space Station, ALPHA.  At 2:37 p.m., December 7, 2002, after 216 Earth orbits, ENDEAVOUR landed on runway 33 at the Shuttle Landing Facility, Florida.

Thanks John!

A note about John Herrington:
John holds the honor of being the first tribally enrolled Native American astronaut to fly on a Shuttle mission.

Buffalo Cafe In Space
Space Shuttle Atlantis
August 2000

We received an unexpected surprise in the mail last Friday, A package from NASA. Enclosed were some photo's, certificate and a note from Space Shuttle pilot Scott " Doc " Horowitz.

Dear Jack,

My wife and I saw you perform at Glacier National Park 2 summers ago. We really enjoyed your stories and music. I brought along this copy of your "Buffalo cafe" CD to listen to during my latest flight on the Space Shuttle Atlantis. I guess you could say your music is "out of this world".

Best Wishes,

Scott Horowitz
